Step 1: Enroll
Enrolling is simply telling us your name and email address. After enrolling there is no obligation to commence the Doula Training course but if you do decide to start the course, we can set up your student account with your enrollment details. You can click the link at the top right if you wish to enroll. If you do enroll, you can then download the demo.

Step 2: Download The Demo
The course is presented in a software package which is very easy to use, no computer skills necessary. In order for you to see how the course looks and is presented on your computer, you can download a free demonstration package. This will give you more information about the course and has example pages of the software. You can download the demo after enrolling.

Step 3: Purchase The Software
If you have enrolled and are ready to start the course you can purchase the course software. The software is presented in four seperate sections called modules. You can purchase each module individually or buy all four at once. You download the module software and install it on your computer. If you are now returning after enrolling to purchase modules, click "Buy Modules" above.

Step 4: Student's Account
When you purchase a module an account is set up for you on our server. You can login to you account at any time and download your modules, documents and do your exams.

Step 5: Study At your Pace
Many women studying to become doulas have other commitments, work and family etc. Therefore, the course is designed to be done at your pace. You can take as long as you like to complete it. If you purchase modules individually, you simply buy the next one when you are ready. Student's must complete all four modules to graduate.

Step 6 : Exams
When you have studied a module you then complete an exam. Exams are multiple choice and done on line via your student account. You receive your results immediately.

Step 7 : Attending Births
While you are studying the course you will be looking for births to attend as a student doula. You must attend three births as a student before graduating. You may know friends and family who are having a baby, or you may be contacted by someone looking for a student doula via the website (we'll tell you more about that during your course)

Step 8 : Graduating
After completing the four modules and exams, and attending three births you are then a qualified doula.

Step 9 : Your Certificate
We then send you your graduation certificate in the mail and you are a qualified doula ready to run your own doula business.

Step 10 : The Doula Register
The doula register is an international run body that organizes the guidelines and practices of qualifed doulas. They also have an online directory for clients to hire doulas. Upon graduating the course you are then eligible to join the doula register (more about that during your course).
